The Haras National has been an integral part of Hennebont’s history for more than 160 years. It is a historic and prestigious site and is widely recognised as one of the birthplaces of the imposing Breton draught horses. Since its creation in 1857, it has been a witness to the unique bond between humans and horses.
Initially dedicated to the selection and breeding of different horse breeds, over the years the Haras expanded into equestrian sporting and leisure activities, including the presentation of equestrian spectacles.
